The Additions and Alterations to the LDS Church in Gray, Georgia were intended to accommodate the growing church membership. The existing building was inspected to verify its structural integrity. Minor structural modifications were designed for the renovations to the existing building. This structure was custom designed to meet the client’s structural specifications. The new single-story addition is comprised of scissor trusses and engineered I-joists on load-bearing stud walls. The foundation was designed as a conventional foundation with a slab on grade.
