This new 105,000 square foot single story school has several different structural systems. The roof consists of 3 on 12 pitched light gauge steel trusses and low-pitched steel joists. The supports for these roof systems are load-bearing, reinforced walls and structural steel columns and beams. There is a 93 foot clear span over the cafeteria with a 7'-6" deep structural steel truss. The foundations are conventional shallow spread and continuous footings.
